INITIAL PSYCHIATRIC EVALUATION
Initial psychiatric evaluation is a 50-60 minute appointment. Mental health history, medication history, and primary presenting symptoms are assessed. It is an exploratory interview illuminating the “whole picture” and the needs of the client. An impression is formed, diagnosis is made, and treatment recommend tions are offered.

MEDICATION MANAGEMENT
Medication management appointments are usually 20-30 minutes. This allows for assessment of medication efficacy and potential adverse effects or side effects. Medication adjustments can be made. Sometimes this is combined with counseling psychotherapy.

COUNSELING PSYCHOTHERAPY
This is usually a 50-60 minute appointment. Counseling psychotherapy is often combined with evaluation and management time to ensure a comprehensive level of care.

TRAUMA, PTSD, & EMDR
Betty Anne specializes in trauma, PTSD, and Complex PTSD. Her work integrates modalities to address attachment wounds, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), depression, and anxiety.

GENESIGHT
Betty Anne offers Genesight testing to evaluate potential impairments in metabolic pathways responsible for medication pharmacokinetics (the biotransformation and distribution of drugs in the body).

CONSULTATION
Betty Anne provides psychiatric consultation to healthcare workers, advanced level providers, and mental health clinicians. She has expertise regarding the relationship of inflammation to mental health, genetic polymorphisms potential impact on mental health/medication efficacy/tolerances, and bio-benavioral intersections with mental health.
